On Wednesday 19th October, the Secondary Department welcomed the Creepy Crawly Roadshow. Over the last term, our learners have learnt about Animals and their Habitats in Science and both Key Stages were given the chance to see and handle a variety of creatures such as a corn snake, millipedes, hissing cockroaches, an African giant snail and a tarantula skin!

As well as this, we've also learnt many amazing facts, for instance -  the toxins from a tarantula bite can make you live longer (although they are extremely painful!) and the slime from a giant snail is incredibly beneficial for your complexion!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all at the Creepy Crawly Roadshow for providing us with an amazingly immersive, educational and unforgettable time.
