During RE this half term, Key Stage 2 have been focusing on the topic of 'Christianity'.
Beech Tree have explored the Catholic branch of this religion. Learners enjoyed role playing being 'The Pope' and creating a line behind him to recreate the feeling of 'following' the Pope as a Catholic! We also listened to the music, 'I will follow him' to support the experience. Beech Tree also learnt about the ways different people pray. We thought about how Christians may use Rosary Beads to help them to pray. We made our own Rosary Beads using our fine motor skills to thread beads onto string.
