Out topic in Key Stage 2 for this half term is "Where We Live." To begin the topic, we looked at common homes in the UK and the different places we may live, including urban and rural areas. We explored materials that are used to construct houses and used Google Maps to discover that most of our own homes are made from bricks. We then applied a variety of techniques to create a brickwork pattern on the classroom floor with chalk!
